Feis Weekend Information

The inaugural East Coast Feis (ECF) will take place Oct. 5th and 6th, 2024. CLRG grade exams will also be held on Oct. 4th, 2024. The ECF will be held in the famous Annapolis Valley during its fruitful harvest season and will consist of two, full-syllabus feiseanna.  Central Kings High School is our spacious venue in Cambridge, Nova Scotia, Canada.  The East Coast ‘double’ Feis is run in partnership with Tir na nÓg Irish Dance Studios.

While you’re here check out the glorious autumnal views and activities.  Harvest season brings in plenty.  Our official sponsors are happy to help you experience the Valley at its best!  Coming soon, see below for a full list of sponsors.

Registration and Merchandise

Registration will be open in August on iFeis.net. Each day of competition is a full separate competition, giving you a fantastic back-to-back experience.  Please be sure to take a look at the 2024 competition syllabus to make note of some differences between the two days.  In the event of a qualifying level advancement on Saturday, you will have the opportunity to move up for Sunday.

Adjudicators and Musicians

Once we have confirmation of Adjudicators and Musicians it will be posted here.

We'd love your help!

There will be a special volunteer position just for you!  You have a unique gift to use!  We appreciate you so much!  With many boxes to check off on the list of things to do for a feis, there is something for you!

A link to sign up to share your skills will be coming soon!

Many Hands Make Light Work!

We know you are busy.  There are many aspects involved in our Feis culture at so many levels.  From shoes and hair to awards and sound systems, from staging to signage, and chairs and food.  There is a lot to organise and if you can help out, even in a small way, it will lighten the load for everyone!

Sign up will be available soon!

All Hands on Deck!

With true East Coast spirit we know how to help each other out.  While at the feis keep your items in their place and put all garbage in the bins.  We want to respect our venue so that we can come again and again.

Let’s all be good guests and leave the place better than we found it!

Heavy Loads and Lights Tasks

Starting now there are preperations to be done.

There are many things to do leading up to the feis; like registration detailing, organising and moving stages, and booking people and items needed.

There are many jobs on the day too; like sidestage organisers, helpers at the entry desk and results room, food handlers, and hands to hand out awards.

When the feis is done for the weekend we’ll need; help with the big take down, items organised and stored, and getting our esteemed adjudicators and musicians home.

A list will be open soon for you to sign up to use your skills in the best way!

Thank you so much for donating your time and talent to the East Coast Feis.  This is a big event and you are so appreciated!

Time and talents are such a gift to the feis.

The feis also has many costs associated with it and although registration fees carry many of the costs it does not cover the entirety of the feis.

Thank you to our sponsors for making a financial contribution to help our dancers work towards their goals and dreams.

Please let these businesses and people know that they have made a difference in your dancers’ life!

If you’d like to help, please contact us for our Sponsorship Package.  Email link will be here soon to contact the Feis.

While at the feis, get some fresh feis needs from our vendors.  To be a vendor please contact via email: eastcoastfeis@gmail.com
